What is KSEEB?

KSEEB is known as the Karnataka State Secondary Education Examination Board. It is a state board education in the Indian state of Karnataka. The KSEEB came into existence in 1964 and has been conducting the SSLC exams every year in April. There are also other examinations conducted by the Board of Karnataka Secondary Education Examination.

This board supervises and regulates the system of Secondary education in Karnataka, India. Under its jurisdiction, it governs and executes the various activities that include devising courses of study, conducting examinations, prescribing syllabus, providing direction, granting recognitions to schools and providing leadership and support for all secondary educational institutions.


Details of KSEEB Class 12 Economics Question Paper 2020

The Karnataka board Economics Paper contains 5 parts as Part A, B, C, D, and E. The total marks are for 100 with the time as 3 hours and 15 minutes respectively. Part A contains Fill in the Blanks, Multiple Choice Questions for 20 marks. Part B is followed by 18 marks, where 9 questions should be answered out of 14. Part C has 28 marks, where any 7 questions should be answered out of 11. Coming to Part D, it carries 24 marks, where any questions to be answered out of 7 with 20 sentences each. Finally, Part E has 3 questions, where the student should answer any 2 from those questions, which they get 10 marks.


Karnataka Board 2nd PUC Supplementary Exam Date, 2020

The KSEEB called Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board is expected to release the details of the 2nd PUC KSEEB Supplementary Exam 2020. In 2019, the board had released the 2nd PUC Karnataka Supplementary Time Table on April 15, 2019. Furthermore, the candidates can also download the time table from the official website. The supplementary examination of the Karnataka board was conducted from June 07, 2019.


Criteria for Passing Karnataka Board PUC?

Students need to secure at least 35 per cent marks to clear the Karnataka Board PUC exam. Candidates are supposed to score a minimum of 70 marks when coming to the language papers and 30 marks each in every individual subject for a total of 210 out of 600 marks to be declared pass.


Features of Karnataka Class 12 second PUC Question Bank

For the first time, the Department of Pre-University has released the Question Bank for the Second Year PUC Economics for Commerce and the Arts stream. The Second PUC Economics Text Book mainly consists of two books.

  • Introductory Microeconomics, which contains 6 chapters.

  • Introductory Macroeconomics with the same contains 6 chapters.

  9. The Mid-term and Annual Examination Test Question Papers should be based on this Question Bank only.

  10. The Programme of Work, which is a Model Question Paper with Blueprint, is given at the end of the Question Bank.

SSLC Exam Fee

The board of Karnataka secondary education examination has revised its SSLC fee from 2020 from INR 365 to INR 440. Also, the fee for failed candidates who are reappearing for the exams have been hiked from INR 240 to INR 290 for one subject, INR 290 to INR 350 for two subjects and INR 390 to INR 470 for 3 or more subjects. However, the fee for laminating the mark card remains the same as INR 20.
