Raqt Aur Hamara Shareer (Chapter 6): This chapter explains the working of our circulatory system and blood using the story of a little girl visiting the doctor with her father.


Chidiya Ki Bacchi (Chapter 9): This is a story of a rich man with a lavish house, where one day, a bird comes and enjoys it. The protagonist loves the bird very much and promises to build her a water bowl, cage, etc. purely with gold. Eventually, the bird leaves to go back to her mother and the man’s greed remains with him.


Apoorv Abhinav (Chapter 10): A story about the friendship between Totto-chan and Yasuki-chan, the latter of whom suffers from Polio. Totto-chan helps Yasuki-chan climb a tree for the first and last time in his life.


Kancha (Chapter 12): “Kancha” means marble and the writer of this story have beautifully written about childhood through the games played by little children, such as marbles. The writer wrote of a boy who could think of nothing but marbles.


Khaanpaan Ki Badalti Tasveer (Chapter 14): This chapter talks about the food habits of the people in India and how they have changed over the years. The writer writes about how, today, people eat food from all over the country, and also the world. He emphasises on the negative effects of this, such as ill-health and forgotten local culture.


Neelkanth (Chapter 15): In Neelkanth, the writer talks about how she got two peacocks and raises them in her zoo. It is the story of the life and death of the peacocks who were in the writer’s care.


Veer Kunwar Singh (Chapter 17): Vir Kunwar Singh was a freedom fighter who fought bravely in the Revolt of 1857, and this chapter tells his story.


Ashram Ka Anumanit Vyay (chapter 19): This chapter has been written by Gandhi about the building of his Ashram in Ahmedabad.
