An adjective that gives more information about the subject, a noun or a pronoun. It is made due to the addition of some suffixes or prefixes to a noun or a pronoun. For example, “loving” is an adjective made from the abstract noun, “love”.
There are different types of adjectives like quality, quantity, demonstrative, number, interrogative, and possessive adjectives.

These are adjectives that describe the quality of someone or something.
For example, the rose is a beautiful flower.

These are adjectives which describe the quantity of a thing or person.

These are adjectives that describe the definite number or indefinite of a person or thing or in what order they stand.

Demonstrative Adjectives
If the adjective points to a particular person or thing, it is called the demonstrative adjective.

Interrogative Adjective
The adjectives that are used before nouns to ask questions are called interrogative adjectives.
For example, What colour are your pants?

Possessive Adjective
If an adjective denotes the possession, signify by telling whose, belonging to whom, they are called possessive adjectives.

Comparison of Adjective
A positive degree denotes an adjective in its simple form. For example, he is a smart boy.
Comparative degree denotes the comparison of denoting a higher quality than the positive degree. For example, he is smarter than him.
Superlative degree denotes the highest degree than comparative or positive. For example, he is the smartest boy I’ve ever met.
