Students seeking to be accepted into top IITs can secure a seat through GATE. This is the exam for courses of M.Tech, integrated M.Tech-PhD, and Ph.D. in engineering and its allied disciplines. The Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) is held every year for the students seeking admission to B.Des. courses at renowned institutes. Both Indian, as well as foreign students, can apply for the UCEED exam.
Candidates should have been born on or after 1st October 1997 (for general and OBC candidates) and on or after 1st October 1992 (for SC, ST, and PwD candidates).
Passed out students/appearing in Class 12th or equivalent examination can also apply.
Students can attempt the exam a maximum of two times and in two consecutive years.

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Architecture/Design/Interior Design or equivalent is required.
A professional Diploma in Design.
BFA (4-year professional program, after 10+2)
GD Art (5-year program after 10th) with one-year post qualification professional experience
Master’s degree in Arts/ Science/ Computer Applications (2-year programme after 10+2+3)
Those with a three-year Bachelor’s degree are not eligible for the CEED exam for Ph.D. and M. Des

It is an exam for admissions into MSc (Four Semesters), Joint MSc-PhD, MSc-MTech, MSc-PhD Dual Degree, and other courses. The covered subjects are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Mathematical Statistics, Biotechnology, Geology, and Economics.
JAM is conducted by:
IIT Roorkee and other IITs to offer.
A bachelor’s degree from any stream of any recognised university.
Both Indian and foreign students can apply.
No age limits.
Final year students are also eligible.
Must have a minimum of 55% marks for General and OBC and 50% marks for SC and ST categories.
Must submit a physical fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner.
It is an entrance exam for IITs conducted for the students who want to pursue a five-year integrated Master of Arts (M.A.) Programs. Students can get admission in the following two courses:
Integrated M.A. in Development Studies
Integrated M.A. in English Studies
Candidates must be below the age of 25.
For SC/ST/PwD, there is an age relaxation of 5 years.
12th class passed out students are also eligible for admission.
The candidate must have scored 60% marks in aggregate in their qualifying examination (55% for SC, ST, and PwD candidates).
