Young wizards and witches study in that school. They study hard and learn to make spells. They are trained to help common people in disguise.

Today was the last of a class of wizards and witches. The head wizard gathered them all in the hall. All the students were in a great mood as they had passed all the exams and were about to get a certificate to practise magic.

To their surprise, the head wizard said, “Today, you will make twenty spells on your own and submit them all to me. You have two hours.”

All the wizards and witches were surprised and disheartened at the same time. They were bored.

The Fun Time

One of the young wizards said, “This is boring. We deserve some fun. Don’t we?” Everyone replied, “Yes!”

He said, “The head wizard has given us two hours. What if we party for one hour and then make twenty spells?” Everyone agreed.

He then distributed the entire class in sections. One took care of the decoration. One cooked food. One designed interesting games. The rest made party hats and fun things. All were done with magic. It took them half an hour.

They enjoyed it a lot for an hour. Once the fun was over, they started working on the spells. Once they started working on spells, they understood their miscalculation. They did not count the preparation time.

The Final Day Fun

The head wizard entered and saw those making spells even if two hours are long gone. Every wizard and witch in the class was embarrassed. They apologised and explained everything.

The head wizard was smiling and surprised all the students by saying, “Happy Graduation Day.”

All the teachers entered the hall. All the students were surprised to see every mentor in the hall.

The head wizard said, “Don’t worry. It was just a prank we played on you. Today is the last day and we wanted to make it worth remembering. There is no test. We wanted to see what you will do in such conditions. Don’t forget to have fun but work hard and plan it well.”

The young witches and wizards learned the last lesson from the head wizard. Life is the balance of work and fun. They will never forget this lesson.

Everyone in the hall enjoyed that day.
