There was once a boy named Rekai. He was young and jolly, and he liked one food the most in this world. It was pancakes! One fine day, Rekai’s mom got a brilliant idea! She went to the kitchen and started preparing a batch of yummy special pancakes for Rekai. When she served this new batch to Rekai, he was so delighted that he quickly gobbled up all the pancakes and asked for more! Rekai’s mom giggled as only she knew what special ingredient she had added to this special batch.
Can you guess this special ingredient? It was veggies! Yes! His mom added healthy veggies to his favourite food. But one day, as his mother was making a new batch of pancakes, Rekai sneaked in on her and discovered that his mom was mixing butternut with the pancake batter! He was shocked. He couldn’t believe that what he ate was a vegetable!
Rekai would not eat anything other than pancakes, but what he ate and experienced was amazing! It was tasty as well as healthy! From then onwards, Rekai’s mother started adding new and healthy foods to the pancake mix to kill two birds at once! Her son was now happily eating good food! She would add fresh fruits, vegetables, oils, and so much more!
