-Volcanic,

Volcanic: Movements of tectonic plates create volcanoes along the plate boundaries, which erupt and form mountains, these mountains are known as volcanic mountains. It is a series of volcanoes that form near a subduction zone where the crust of a sinking oceanic plate melts and drags water down with the subducting crust.

Fold: When plates collide or undergo subduction ( i.e. ride one over another), the plates tend to buckle and fold, forming mountains these mountains are known as fold mountains.. Most of the major continental mountain ranges are associated with thrusting and folding or orogenesis, For Examples: the Balkan Mountains, the Jura and the Zagros mountains.

Plateau: A flat, elevated landform that rises sharply above the surrounding area on at least one side is known as plateau mountain.

Fault - block : The mountain form when large areas are broken and displaced vertically, are known as Fault - Block Mountains are formed. Here are some examples : the Rhine Valley and the Vosges mountain in Europe.

Dome: The mountains which were formed when large globs of magma float up from beneath the crust and push up surface rocks, creating a rounded swelling in the crust are known as dome mountains. When the magma cools, it creates a large dome of harder rock under the surface, which erosion sometimes reveals.
