The annual session of the Indian National Congress was held in Faizpur in 1936. It was the fiftieth session of the Indian Congress. It was held on 27 and 28 December 1936. Faizpur was a village located on the outer part of the Yawal Taluka comes under Jalgaon district of Bombay Presidency. In those days Maharashtra was called as Bombay presidency.
