This prestigious Indian national park is located in the Golaghat and Nagaon districts of the state of Assam in the north-eastern part of the country.
It is the oldest park along the Brahmaputra River to the north and the hills of Karbi Anglong to the south, covering an area of 430 sq kms. Through the park region and tea plantations, hemmed by table-top tea bushes, National Highway 37 passes. Rhinos and wild elephants can also be seen straying close to the highway.
