Hint: The basic form or order for a positive sentence is – subject – verb – object, in a grammatically correct sentence the subject and verb must both be singular or plural. In other words, the subject and verb must agree with one another in their tense. So, try to evaluate the given sentence and see if you can find the one which follows this construction.

Complete answer:

As you can see in the above-given options there are four different approaches used to write the sentences, let us look at each one and try to eliminate those which are wrong –
a) These three boys hate each other; the correct form would be – these three boys hate one another (because each other is used when we discuss two people or things but one another is used when we discuss more than two people or things).
b) Sanjeev leant Rs. 2,000 to Vineet; this is grammatically correct.
c) I, you, and he belong to the same village; the correct sentence would be – you, he, and I belong to the same village (‘I’ is never used first if in a sentence you are referring to yourself you do so at the end).
d) Anyone of the two students can solve the sum; the correct version would be – either of the two students can solve the sum (because we are talking about two persons and not more).
So, the correct answer is “Option b”.

Note: Keep yourself familiar with the rules of basic grammar like – subject-verb agreement, usage of tense, verbs, adverbs etc. For e.g. - the tense and the verbs used should match in their form, or the count of subject and verb should be the same (singular or plural), etc.
