Hint: Inquilab Zindabad was a slogan that became popular during the Indian Independence movement. It is regarded as a Hindustani phrase which means “long live the revolution”

Complete answer: The slogan “Inquilab Zindabad” was coined by an Urdu poet, Hasrat Mohani. He was an Indian freedom fighter and also a leader of the Indian National Congress in 1921. However, the slogan was popularized by Bhagat Singh (1907–1931) during the late 1920s. Bhagat Singh through his speeches and writings gave the slogan a new value that wasn’t attached before. It was declared as the official slogan of the Hindustan Socialist Republican Association. The All India Azad Muslim Conference also had the same official slogan. It was in April 1929, that this slogan was raised by Bhagat Singh and his companion B. K. Dutt. They shouted “Inquliab zindabad” after bombing the Central Legislative Assembly in Delhi. Later this slogan was raised in June 1929. It was for the first time that such a slogan was shouted in an open court, as part of their joint statement at the High Court in Delhi. After such major events, it became one of the rallying cries of the Indian freedom struggle movement. This slogan meant a lot to the revolutionaries of the independence movement.
Therefore the correct answer is “C”.

Note: In Indian political novels which chronicles the independence movement, pro-independence emotions and sentiments are often marked by revolutionaries and freedom fighters shouting slogans.
