Maths Question Paper for CBSE Class 10 - 2012

The CBSE class 10 Maths paper consists of two PARTS. Part A and Part B. 

PART A has questions that carry one mark each, and PART B has questions that carry 2,3 and 5 marks. The table below shows the weightage allotted to each Unit in the exam.

Tips to Score well in CBSE Class 10 Maths:

Let us walk you through some tips to score well in your exams:

• Prepare all the chapters well, especially those chapters that have a higher weightage compared to other chapters.

• Focus on the basics, if your basics are clear you can easily solve complex numerical problems.

• Always write down the formulas on a different page and have a look at them whenever possible, this will help you keep up with a large number of formulas.

• Practice chapters like Algebra more as they are complex and need attention.

• Revise all the theorems at least once a week, theorems are always asked in the exam.

• Try to attempt the questions that carry the most marks first, this way you will not be stressed the entire 3 hours.

• Try to maintain notes and revise them daily.

• Always solve sample papers and previous year papers.

• Don’t make silly mistakes by stressing over them.

• Always go through your paper at the end to make sure you didn’t make silly mistakes.

• Write with confidence and not in a hurry.
