The CBSE Exam Pattern divides the Class 10 Theory Question Paper into four sections. The total score for all four categories will be 80. The remaining 20 points will be used for internal evaluation. Section A consists of 20 one-mark questions (20 marks). Section B consists of 6 questions of 2 marks each (12 marks). The next section i.e., section C consists of 8 questions of 3 marks each (24 marks). Section D consists of 6 questions of 4 marks each (24 marks).

3. What is the chapter-wise weightage for the CBSE class 10 maths paper?

The sample paper for the Board Exam was issued by CBSE. According to it, the chapter-wise weightage is given. Unit 1 i.e. Number Systems has a weightage of 6 marks. Algebra i.e. unit 2 has a weightage of 20 marks. Unit 3 i.e. Coordinate Geometry carries 6 marks. Unit 4 i.e. geometry has a weightage of 15 marks. Trigonometry i.e. unit 5 carries 12 marks. Unit 6 i.e. mensuration carries 10 marks. Unit 7 i.e. statistics and probability have a weightage of 11 marks.
