JEE Main 2023 Session 1 Dates Changed

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has revised the JEE Main 2023 session 1 test schedule. Earlier, the test was to be concluded on January 31. Now, it will be conducted till February 1. The test which was scheduled on January 27 & 28 is now shifted to February 1. The rest of the dates are kept unchanged. The information is confirmed through the official notification released by NTA on its website. Students can check the official notification on jeemain.nta.nic.in.

To make sure that JEE Main exam takers who are travelling from distant places do not encounter any difficulties, the exam date of January 27 has been removed. If students must travel due to January 26 restrictions, it can be inconvenient.


The updated timetable states that exams for BE/BTech (paper 1, shifts 1 and 2) will be held on January 24, 25, 29, 30, and 31 and that exams for BArch and BPlanning (papers 2A and 2B) will be held on February 1, 2023. (2nd shift only). The second session's exam will take place in April. If candidates don't perform well in the first session, they can show up in session 2.


For the session 1 exam, which will start on January 24, the NTA released the exam city intimation slip on Wednesday. The intimation slip can be downloaded by applicants for the exam at the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.
