Step 4: Check and download the exam city slip/admit card

Students are advised to check the details mentioned on the admit card like photo, name and signature. The hard copy of the admit card should be carried to the examination centre along with a valid ID proof.

JEE Main 2023 session 1 will be conducted nationwide on January 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31, 2023. 13 languages, including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu, will be used to administer the JEE Main exam.

Earlier, the JEE (Main) information bulletin for 2023 stated that admission to  BE/BTech/BArch/BPlanning programmes at the NITs, IITs, and CFT will be done through the central seat allocation board, which include all-India rank with the additional eligibility of at least 75% in aggregate in the class 12 examination taken by the relevant education boards. Now, that decision is reversed by NTA for this session.

In April 2023, JEE-Main 2023 will hold its second session.

According to the regulations, candidates' positions will be determined by the marks they received in either of the two sessions. Candidates may select to attend either one or both sessions.
