JEE Main 2021 May Session Dates Clashing With Your Board Exam? Here’s The Solution

National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the final dates of JEE Main 2021 May session exam which resulted in a clash with the exam dates of CBSE Class 12th board exam and many other state board exams. As many candidates have raised this issue to the authorities, NTA has come to their rescue indeed. NTA has issued a public notice addressing the issue and mentioned that the candidates have to inform the dates of the agency while filling in the application form online. So that they help the candidates to pick another substitute date for those particular papers.

JEE Main May session exams are scheduled to be held on May 24, 25, 26, 27, and 28, 2021. According to various sites, the application window for the JEE Main 2021 May session exam is expected to start from May 3 and might continue till May 12, 2021. While filling in the application form, candidates will get an option to fill in their Class 12 roll number and the respective board name in the application form, which will notify the agency whether the candidate’s board exam is clashing with the JEE Main 2021 exam dates.


As per the notice, NTA stated: “The JEE (Main) Session-4 will be conducted in May on 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th, and 28th May 2021. It has been brought to the notice of NTA by the candidates appearing in JEE (Main) that the 12th Class Examinations, 2021 conducted by CBSE and various State Boards are going to be held during this period. Keeping in view the interest of the candidates and to avoid any clash between the two examinations, the NTA will open the Application form of JEE(Main) -2021 from 3 rd May to 12th May 2021 (for the May session) asking the candidates to inform the NTA about their Class 12 Roll number and name of Board," the official notice reads.”


JEE Main 2021 will be held in four phases this year due to the ongoing pandemic situation i.e. February, March, April, and May. Admit cards for the February session have been released on the official website of JEE Main i.e. jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates must download the admit card and carry the print out for the same to the exam hall. JEE Main February exam will be held from February 23 to February 26, 2021, in two shifts.
