ICSE Class 10 Art Syllabus 2024-25 Examinations

In this subject, students will learn various concepts on painting and drawing which can help them in understanding the craft much better. The examinations are mostly practical and students must be prepared to practice in a highly pressurized environment during the examination. The only way students can become better at this is by constant practice and a whole lot of hard work. The subject requires students to learn the subject in a much different approach from how they study their other subjects, in other subjects students are required to study theoretical concepts of practice sums but here students are constantly required to practice their subject. The Syllabus of Art Class 10

In this subject, syllabus plays an important part. For Class 9 and Class 10 students will be given to parts where one is external and the other is internal. Here students are required to study the various aspects of the subject and there is also an internal choice between some of the papers.  The first part has 4 papers with which students can decide to choose any two. Part 2 is the internal examination which is prepared by the school which has two papers. The following is the examination pattern which students need to prepare for -

Following is the Detailed View on Each:

Paper 1: (3 hours) Drawing and/or Painting from Still Life: The maximum mark that can be acquired is 100.

Students are required to make a portrayal of any article or a gathering of articles that will be counterfeit or normal also, may incorporate such things as cut blossoms, natural products, vegetables, a developing plant, just as homegrown or other fake items: the gathering might be drawn or painted.
