FAQs on Wild Animals Name

1. Why do zebras have stripes?

Zebras have stripes because these stripes help to get rid of biting insects such as house flies and other insects tend to bite the zebras, so the stripes on the body of the zebra help them to get rid of this problem as the studies revealed that the flies are attracted towards the dark animals so that is why zebra has the development of white stripes which helps them to become less attractive to the biting insects. Thus we can say that to be least attractive to house flies such a pattern of stripes is present on the body of zebras.

2. Why can't elephants jump?

Elephants are the biggest animals on the planet earth. Unlike most mammals, the bones in elephants' legs are all pointed downwards, which means they do not have the spring required to push off the ground. If an elephant ends up jumping the pressure on the knees and ankles could cause injuries. To jump an animal should be really flexible but as the body of elephants is very huge so that is why the elephants cannot jump apart from this As the weight of elephants is more than 16,000 pounds they’re too heavy to make a jump so we can say that elephants are earthbound and they cannot jump.
