What is a commercial application in class 9th?

Commercial Applications is an ICSE course that spans classes 9 and 10; it begins in class 9 and continues through class 10. This is a subject that is more vital than any other for students who want to pursue a career or employment in the field of business. Understanding the specific roles played by various departments in a commercial organization, as well as the interrelationships and dependencies of all functional areas in a real company: Purchase and Stores, Production, Marketing and Sales, Finance, Human Resources, General Administration, and Legal. 

Commercial Organizations 

(a) Definitions and fundamental understanding of concepts such as commerce, business, industry, trade, organization, firm, and corporation. Commercial organizations have a certain meaning.

Using real industry examples, a fundamental comprehension of the words and their distinctions.

(b) Classification based on activities, goals, and ownership structures

Various industrial groups must be explained, such as the textile sector, FMCG (fast moving consumer goods), and so on. To reinforce and clarify these concepts, numerous examples must be provided. While profit and non-profit companies have different goals, excellent management is still necessary. A quick overview of each ownership structure, including its characteristics and differences

(c) Environmental response:

 Natural resources, such as air, water, soil, metals, minerals, forests, and fossil fuels.

The significance of these resources in our day-to-day lives.

(ii) Causes of resource depletion: excessive/irrational consumption, unequal resource distribution, technical and industrial development, and population expansion.

Almost all human actions have deteriorated the environment on a physical, chemical, biological, and ethical level.

In a simple way, to build in students an observant, sensitive, and critical response to the role of business.

To establish in students an analytical mindset that allows them to reconcile the demands of social and business parameters with their own personal goals.

To promote an understanding of the many roles played by both the entrepreneur and the professional management.

To improve one's capacity to work in and with groups.

To equip students with the necessary information and abilities as a foundation for subsequent education, job, or both.
