Question: How to download Class 7 RD Sharma Chapter 20  Solutions?

Answer: Students can download Class 7 RD Sharma Chapter 20 Mensuration Solutions at Vedantu’s official website.

The Chapter Mensuration of Class 7 is all about different 2-Dimensional and 3–Dimensional shapes and their properties. The children learn how to find the areas, perimeters, and volumes of these shapes with few derivations of the formulas.

Mensuration plays a crucial role in the Coordinate Geometry Part in higher studies and Class 7 students understand the Chapter clearly. They can solve books like RS Aggarwal which will introduce them to good questions. Class 7 students should make their own notes of Mensuration that they can later refer to in higher Classes.

FAQs on RS Aggarwal Solutions Class 7 Chapter-20 Mensuration (Ex 20E) Exercise 20.5

1. How to do conversion of units for Class 7 Mensuration?

Conversion is important to bring the answer in the correct units in Class 7 Mensuration. Every physical quantity, like mass, length, time, etc has its specific unit. The conversion of units depends completely on the given situation in question. Before conversion, Class 7 students must understand the relationship between units. They can study this from Vedantu's Youtube Channel or FREE notes provided on Vedantu's website. Conversion can be done simply by multiplying or dividing by certain values, once the Class student understands the relationship between units. This is how Class 7 students can do conversions for Mensuration.

2. How to solve RS Aggarwal for Mensuration Class 7 Maths?

Class 7 students should organize their study timetable in a way that they give a few hours of their week to solve RS Aggarwal or any other reference book. RS Aggarwal contains a lot of good questions from which the questions can directly or indirectly be asked in the final examinations and tests. After completing NCERT Exercises, Class 7 students can begin going through the solved examples in RS Aggarwal as it will help them to solidify the approach of methods to solve questions. They can also solve the questions and compare their method with the given in the book and adapt whatever is fast. Then the students can move on to solve text papers at the end.

3. What is the Total Surface Area (TSA) of a Cuboid?

A Cuboid is a three-dimensional polyhedron having 6 faces, 8 vertices, and 12 edges. Each face of a cuboid is parallel and always forms a rectangle. To calculate the Total Surface Area (TSA) of Cuboid, the student has to use the formula- S = 2 (lb + bh + lh) (where 'S' stand for Total Surface Area of Cuboid and 'l', 'b' and 'h' stands for length, breadth, and height of the cuboid respectively). That’s how a Class 7 student can find the Total Surface Area of a Cuboid.

4. What is the Closed Surface Are (CSA) of a Sphere?

A sphere is a solid curved figure that is a three-dimensional object and has no edges and no vertices. All points on the surface are equally distant from the centre of the sphere. The sphere is also considered a perfectly round geometric 3-D object. To calculate the Closed Surface Area (CSA) of a sphere, we have to use the formula for Total Surface Area of Sphere as in the case of Sphere, both are the same. Total Surface area (TSA) = Closed Surface Area (CSA) = 4πr² square units.

5. How to solve Class 7 Mensuration problems to get full marks?

Class 7 students should read the Mensuration questions carefully before they start attempting them. After reading they should note down all the given useful data in the question with the required value that is asked. Class 7 students should then write down all the formulas they’ll require to solve the particular problem in their rough section. Then the student can proceed and solve the given Mensuration question with ease. This is how a Class 7 student can get full marks in Mensuration questions.
