> We know that nowadays, Tea is a very popular drink. Almost everyone prefers to drink tea in the morning.
- It is known to us that tea is made with leaves of tea plants and water.
- Firstly, tea leaf processing is done. In this method, leaves from the tea plant are transformed into dried leaves for brewing tea.
- In order to prepare tea, following steps have to be followed:
- Firstly, water is taken as a solvent in a saucer pan.
Now, water(solvent) is allowed to boil for few minutes
- After boiling water, milk, a teaspoon of sugar and a teaspoon of dried tea leaves are added to the water (solvent) and form a solution. Here milk, tea leaves and sugar are solutes.
Now, again we will boil the solution for a few more minutes so that sugar dissolves in solution as we know that sugar is soluble in water.
The solution is now filtered by pouring it through a strainer.
We will find that the insoluble part of the solution remains on the strainer as a residue and the leftover solution is filtrate. The filtrate is tea.
