Hint: Try to recall that solution is formed by mixing solute and solvent. Also, it is known to us that solute are those substances which are to be dissolved and solvent is the one in which solute is dissolved.
Complete step by step solution:
> We know that nowadays, Tea is a very popular drink. Almost everyone prefers to drink tea in the morning.
- It is known to us that tea is made with leaves of tea plants and water.
- Firstly, tea leaf processing is done. In this method, leaves from the tea plant are transformed into dried leaves for brewing tea.
- In order to prepare tea, following steps have to be followed:
- Firstly, water is taken as a solvent in a saucer pan.
Now, water(solvent) is allowed to boil for few minutes
- After boiling water, milk, a teaspoon of sugar and a teaspoon of dried tea leaves are added to the water (solvent) and form a solution. Here milk, tea leaves and sugar are solutes.
Now, again we will boil the solution for a few more minutes so that sugar dissolves in solution as we know that sugar is soluble in water.
The solution is now filtered by pouring it through a strainer.
We will find that the insoluble part of the solution remains on the strainer as a residue and the leftover solution is filtrate. The filtrate is tea.
Note:It should be remembered that tea leaves processing is an important step in the production of tea which involves withering, rolling, oxidation and drying. Make sure you’re using all the prescribed words.
