Hint: The Kandariya Mahadev temple constructed in 999 is dedicated to Shiva. It was built by the king Dhangadeva of the Chandela dynasty. It is one of the tallest and largest temples of Khajuraho.

The Kandariya Mahadev temple is famous for its magnificent structure. The temple is built at 4 metre height in the shape of a mountain, which is symbolic of mount meru which is said to be the source of creation of the world.
