Hint: Notice the picture carefully. You can see a child working on a road. This means that your topic is something on the lines of children working. You may write a narrative essay narrating a story or a descriptive essay writing a description about it in general. You can write anything about a child on the road selling popcorn.
Complete answer:
Child labour – A malpractice
When humans started settling in the society, their primary occupation was agriculture and trade. It was typical amongst the farmers to train their children to do what they were doing. It was a practice where education was not formal in our society. Children at that time were regularly employed because they can easily be exploited. They work hard and they can be paid less too.
This grew when industrialisation grew. Children as labourers were easier to control. With the growing number of industries, the employment rate was so high that children from poor families were made to work so that they could feed their families. As the children are tiny, they were then exploited by being sent to mines as a full grown adult would not fit in. This is how children were exploited. Child labour is more prevalent in developing and underdeveloped countries. As the countries developed, they made strict laws against child labour and unequal wages. Minimum age of eighteen was required for a person to be eligible to work. We, as an individual, should stop buying from children on streets and public transport.
We should never allow employing children as domestic help either. We should educate them and the people around us that child labour is malpractice and will ruin humanity. These are the least things which every individual can do. One should also support orphanages and take part in initiatives.
It is said that children are the future of the society. Children are the world’s greatest aspect and they are the ones who shall prosper and grow the nation. It is therefore our responsibility to teach them moral values and educate them.
Note: It is important to give the title. I have written a descriptive essay (description of a topic) but you can attempt it in a narrative style as well (story form). It is very important to write only three paragraphs, not more than three.
Paragraph 1 :- Introduction.
You give a brief introduction about what the topic is. Example, what is child labour.
Paragraph 2 :- Body
You write in detail about the topic. Example, where have you seen child labour, why does it exist, what can you do to prevent it, how does it affect the society.
Paragraph 3 :- Conclusion
You have to conclude your entire essay stating how children are the future of the world and how the world will be a better place if they are educated.
