A person’s dressing is not only based on their style quotient but also depends highly on the type of season he is wearing it. A wise person always dresses according to the season for better comfort. For example, the clothes worn in winter are very different from those worn in summer. In summer we should prefer that it facilitates the air to pass through for the skin to be able to breathe and hence we prefer cotton clothes for the same.
Now, for winter, we need something that would keep our body warm and we normally prefer woollen clothes. Quite ironically, they are poor conductors of heat. Irrespective of that, they keep our body warm. This is because the air gaps present between the fabric. These air gaps prevent the movement of surrounding air into our body and thereby keeping the body warm.

Note: For the rainy season, we wear a raincoat that is water-resistant. Now, the thickness of the woollen clothes can be varied depending upon the intensity of coldness as they add the number of air gaps in them and hence insulates the body from the external cold.
