Hint: It is the largest part of the brain and is the source of intellectual activities.

Complete answer:
The cerebrum is the highly developed part of the human brain which is situated at the topmost part of the brain. It is made up of two hemispheres: left and right hemisphere. These two cerebral hemispheres interconnect with each other through a thick tract of nerve fibers that present at the base of this fissure. The outermost layer of the cerebrum is known as the cerebral cortex that has an uneven surface with many folds. On this uneven surface, ridges called gyri and folds called sulci.
Each hemisphere is commonly divided into four main lobes: the frontal lobe, parietal lobe, temporal lobe, and occipital lobe, they are named according to the skull bones that cover them. The cerebrum comprises the ventricles where the cerebrospinal fluid is formed and circulated.

The functions of the cerebrum:
- The frontal lobe of the cerebrum involves reasoning, motor control, emotion, and language.
- The prefrontal cortex is responsible for higher-level intellectual functioning.
- The motor system of the brain involves generation and control of movement.
- The motor cortex, which is the area of frontal bone helps in the locomotion and the movement of arms and legs.
- The sensory cortex is situated near the motor cortex responsible for the sensation in different body parts.

Note:
> The cerebellum is located below the cerebrum that works directly with the structures in the cerebrum. It coordinates the functions like posture and balance and it also sends signals to control muscle movements.
> Some brain disorders are congenital like Tay–Sachs disease and linked to genetic and chromosomal mutations.
