Complete answer:
A. Argentina:- it produces bananas in the northern region of the country. Banana production is done in a suitable environment mainly in two regions of the country i.e in Formosa and Salta. It has 5400 hectares devoted to banana production producing 105000tons of domestic bananas however it's only big enough to cover up to 20 % of country demand which makes Argentina a big importer of bananas.
B. Ecuador:- it is the world's largest banana producer and exporter. It has devoted an average 180.337 hectare of land for the production of bananas exporting over 4 million tonnes annually. It contributes up to 6 % of world production of bananas. It is ranked 5th in the world for the production of bananas.
C. Paraguay:- it is also a big exporter of bananas devoting 7.812 hectares producing 71.870 ton on an average annually. Although these are significant figures, these are much lesser than the data of Ecuador. Hence its smaller producer than Ecuador.
D. Uruguay:- it doesn't produce bananas because of its climatic condition. It imports bananas from Brazil and Ecuador. Which makes it a consumer of bananas and thus it's not a significant producer of bananas in the world.

Hence the correct answer is option B.

- The largest producer is India having production of 29124000 tonnes per year. China follows India in the second rank.
