Hint: A resource is defined as a subject that is required by organisms for their growth, reproduction and livelihood. Few of the key resources include food, water, territory, etc.
Complete answer:
Resources can be broadly classified into natural and man-made resources, which can be further subdivided into different types. Natural resources are all those resources that are produced naturally and maybe further subdivided into- biotic and abiotic resources, renewable and non-renewable resources, potential and actual resources, stock and developed resources.
Among them biotic and abiotic resources are those produced by living and non-living forms respectively. Renewable resources are those that can renew themselves such as sunlight and non-renewable resources are those that cannot renew themselves such as fossil fuels. Stocked resources are natural resources that can be very useful when harvested and developed resources are those which are fully developed and ready to use.
Potential resources are those whose usefulness has not been tested hence their consistency are said to be uncertain such as mineral oil and actual resources are those which are currently put to use and their consistency is also fully known such as mines and trees. In turn man-made resources are those that are developed by humans to make roads, buildings and bridges from the natural resources.
Note: Resources serve important roles that helps in the living of many different plants and animals, so the use of resources should be made in a responsible manner and it must be kept in mind not to exhaust the resources.
