Krishna Patrika is a Telugu language newspaper started by the Indian freedom fighter Konda Venkatappayya. It was the first Telugu newspaper and started publishing on February 2, 1902 as a weekly magazine. This newspaper played an important role in the Indian freedom movement as it prepared the people in various parts of the country for freedom struggle by inspiring them and creating a strong feeling of independence among them.

There is a unique characteristic of it as it was started by a District Association. Its first publication started on February 2, 1902 in accordance with a resolution of Krishna District Association, passed in the year 1899 and no other political group in the country was managing the newspaper for the objective political education.
