Hint: The Solar System consists of 8 planets and Our Earth is 3rd Planet in our Solar System. All the planets revolve around the Sun in our Solar system. Mercury is the smallest planet of our solar system and Jupiter is the largest planet in our solar system.
Complete Solution:
Mercury is the smallest planet in our solar system and it is also the closest planet to the sun. Hence, we can say that there is no Planet in between Mercury and Sun. Mercury is the first Planet of our Solar System. It is just 58 million kilometers away from the sun. One day of mercury is equal to 59 days on Earth and it takes just 88 days for mercury to complete a revolution around the sun, this means that one years of mercury is only equal to 88 days on Earth. Mercury is a small rocky planet and it does not have any moon. Mercury is similar to the size of our moon.
So, the correct answer for the above question is that there are no planets in between mercury and Sun.
Additional Information:
Mercury has a very thin atmosphere which consists of Hydrogen, Helium, Sodium, oxygen and Potassium. Even though Mercury has oxygen in its atmosphere, that does not mean that we can breathe there. Solar Winds or Solar Flares attack Mercury Surface every day and Since there is no Ozone Layer on Mercury to protect its surface from Solar winds, Life is not possible there.
Note:
Our solar system consists of two types of planet, one is Rocky Plant which have a rocky surface like Earth, Mercury, Venus, Mars and the other one are Gas planets or Gas Giants. These Gaseous Planets are bigger in size and does not have any solid surface like Jupiter and Saturn. While Neptune has an Icy Surface.
