Hint: In the given question the product obtained from the hydrolysis of sucrose has been discussed. As hydrolysis is the addition of water in the reaction. sucrose is an inverted sugar. In the reaction water is added in sucrose in the presence of an enzyme.

Complete Step by step answer:
Sucrose when reacting with water in the presence of an invertase enzyme gives glucose and fructose. As both glucose and fructose have the same chemical formula \[{C_6}{H_{12}}{O_6}\] but they differ from structural formulas. Sucrose is not a reducing sugar as glucose and fructose are connected through their reducing centers in the structure of sucrose.

Glucose is dextrorotatory and fructose is levorotatory whereas Sucrose is dextrorotatory. Although the resulting solution after hydrolysis is levorotatory. The product obtained is known as invert sugar and during the hydrolysis of sucrose, as the sign of rotation is changed from (+) to (-).

And the products obtained from the hydrolysis of sucrose are glucose and fructose. On hydrolysis, sucrose gives an equimolar mixture of D- (+)-glucose and D- (-)- fructose.
Hence, on hydrolysis, sucrose gives one molecule of alpha-D glucose and one molecule of beta - D-fructose.

Note: Glucose structural formula \[{C_6}{H_{12}}{O_6}\] is a monosaccharide whereas Fructose with structural formula \[{C_6}{H_{12}}{O_6}\] or we call fruit sugar, is a simple monosaccharide and Sucrose along with the formula \[{C_{12}}{H_{22}}{O_{11}}\] is the organic compound which is generally known as table sugar and sometimes called as saccharose. Thus, we can say that the sucrose molecule is a disaccharide composed of the monosaccharide’s glucose and fructose.
