Hint: Guttation is the exudation of drops of xylem sap on the tips and edges of the leaves, one should not confuse the exudation with the water that are condensed from the environment to the surface of the plant.

Guttation usually occurs at night time
At night times, normally transpiration does not occur because the stomata are closed at night.
Whenever there is a high moisture level in the soil of the plants, the water enters the plants, through roots because the pressure on the roots is lower compared to soil, so when the water enters the roots, after some time the pressure in the roots increase and this water is expelled out through leaves.
Guttation has mostly occurred during the nights and it is easily noticeable at that period as transpiration does not occur at nights and also it occurs in high humid areas.
When it comes to the chemical composition, guttation fluid contains many organic and inorganic components which include some sugars and minerals like potassium.
When these drops are dried up, white crust like the thing is formed on the leaf.
In some plants like corn which germinate from neonicotinoid corn, seeds have guttation drops that contain insecticides in the range of 10mg per liter.
The concentration of this actually equals active insecticide and pests that are used for crops.
And it was found that when bees consume the situation drops of corn plants that are grown from those neonicotinoid seeds die within minutes.
