Hint: The Nuclear Weapons Non-Proliferation Treaty, is an international treaty designed to limit the escalation of the nuclear arms race and related technologies. A further aim of the agreement is to promote cooperation in the use of nuclear energy for peace and the achievement of complete nuclear disarmament.

According to the Indian government, the agreement in its current form is unfair in that it effectively states that the five winners of the second world war have the right to own nuclear weapons while other countries will not be punished.
