Hint:In order to solve this question we need to understand Newton’s first law of motion. According to this law a body tends to be at rest or in motion unless an unbalanced external force acts on the system or body. So a body opposes this behavior and shows resistance to it which is known as inertia. There are three types of inertia, inertia of rest, inertia of motion and inertia of direction.

Complete answer:
Before we answer this first let us brief all the types of inertia.Inertia of rest states that a body would oppose the change in its state of rest, example of this is when in travel in bus then if bus suddenly starts then due to inertia of rest you lean backwards.

Inertia of motion states that a body would oppose the change in its state of motion, example of this is when in travel in bus then if bus suddenly stops then due to inertia of rest you lean forward.Inertia of direction states that a body would oppose the change in state of direction, for example when a bus turn then you lean toward center of circular turn or part of circular turn.

So similarly when we shake wet clothes then water on it then water droplets come off from it. This is because the water droplets are in a state of rest but all of sudden if unbalanced force acts on it then it shows resistance to it and due to its property of inertia of rest water droplets detach from the cloths.

Note:It should be remembered that force is defined as push or pull in body which causes the state change, so on a body several types of forces act, hence an unbalanced force is defined when all the acting forces on system or body are not equal and opposite to each other. Moment of Inertia is known as rotational inertia.
