Complete answer: Here is a map showing India’s neighbours, both land as well as maritime. In the west is the Islamic republic of Pakistan and the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan is in the Northwest. The Federal Democratic republic of Nepal is in the North while the Kingdom of Bhutan is in the Northeast. The Republic of the Union of Myanmar is in the east and the People’s Republic of Bangladesh is in the eastern side near Bay of Bengal.
The Maldives is in the Southwestern side in the Indian Ocean whereas Indonesia is in the South-eastern part of the Indian Ocean. Sri Lanka is in the south of the Indian mainland.

Note: Maldives and Indonesia are neighbours of India due to Indian administration over Lakshadweep Islands and Andaman and Nicobar Islands respectively.
