The thorn forests and scrub are mostly found in the areas where the annual rainfall is less than 70 cm. According to the amount of rainfall received by the plants and other categories such as the factors to decide the types of vegetation that will grow in a particular area.
The plants grown in the region where the annual rainfall is less than 70 cm, are temperature resistant and plants also have several modifications to counter water scarcity.
