Hint- Make use of the formula of speed to solve this question and then find out the time taken by train to pass the platform.
Given the length of the train=240 m
Also given the time taken by it to pass a pole=24 seconds
So, first let us try to find out the speed of the train from this and then use this to solve it further
Speed of the train=$\dfrac{{distance}}{{time}}$ =$\dfrac{{240}}{{24}} = 10$m/s
We have to find out how long it will take to cross a platform 650m long
That is we have to find out the time, given the speed and the distance travelled
$Time = \dfrac{{distance}}{{speed}} = \dfrac{{650}}{{10}} = 65$ seconds
So, the time taken by the train to cross the platform=65seconds
Note: In this question we have been asked to find out the time of the , in case we were given with time and speed and we were asked to find out the distance, then modify the formula accordingly and try to solve it and find out the required quantity
