Introduction about Friendship

Do you have friends? How many friends do you have in your classroom and outside the classroom? Definitely, you’ll have many friends, some in school, some in the same classroom, and some in your neighborhood. You must have loved to play with your friends, share your thoughts, and love having their company.

Friendship is a pure form of love and affection. Friends are found by our choice, this is not a predetermined relation or any forceful relation with me. They are our choice. That's why it is loved to spend more time and feelings with them.

Friends are the closest relatives we have who aren't blood relatives. A friend is someone with whom you build a link and have deep regard that is unrelated to romance. There are many poems on friendship and one of the most beautiful poems on friendship will be shared here.

Friends frequently share a similar passion, such as a hobby or a sport, but there are also people who have been friends since childhood but have different hobbies. Friends care about each other and are there to share the good times while also being there for each other when it becomes tough to go on.

Friendship is a great thing, and there is no better way to convey your thoughts than through poetry. Rhyming poems about friendship can also be a powerful tool for instilling the value of friendship. So, here is a beautiful poem about friendship which is written by Helen Steiner Rice:

A Golden Chain

Friendship is a Golden Chain,
The links are friends so dear,
And like a rare and precious jewel
It’s treasured more each year…
It’s clasped together firmly
With a love that’s deep and true,
And it’s rich with happy memories and fond recollections, too…
Time can’t destroy its beauty
For as long as memory lives,
Years can’t erase the pleasure
That the joy of friendship gives…
For friendship is a priceless gift
That can’t be bought or sold,
But to have an understanding friend
Is worth far more than gold…
And the Golden Chain of Friendship
Is a strong and blessed tie
Binding kindred hearts together
As the years go passing by.

Unity in Diversity = Friendship

Unity in Diversity = Friendship

In this friendship poem, the poet describes friendship as a golden chain. Initially, he compares the friends with gold and tells the worthiness of friends which is far from gold or diamond.

Friendships are essential to one's mental health and overall quality of life. The ability to live and love are inextricably linked. Friendship allows you to love, learn about yourself, grow as a person, and open yourself up to the entire experience of life.

Some friendships endure a lifetime, but the majority do not. One person in a friendship may start to defect or "free ride," forcing the other person to choose between cooperation and defection.

"The Golden Chain of Friendship" is a poem on how a gold chain might be compared to friendship. The author's main argument is established in the poem's opening line, giving the reader a feel of what the author will be discussing throughout the poem. Like a friendship and its memories, the chains are full of good memories and fond recollections that can be kept forever. As friendships develop, you establish distinct memories with the other people that you may look back on and treasure. Because it is such a timeless piece of jewelry, time cannot destroy the beauty of a chain.
