NTA Postpones JEE Main 2021 April Session Due to the Upsurge in Covid-19 Cases; Revised Dates Will Be Released Soon

On Sunday, the National Testing Agency declared to reschedule the April session of JEE Main 2021. Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, our Education Minister, confirmed the same on Twitter. JEE Main 2021 was scheduled to be held on April 27, 28, and 30. The release of admit cards has been now put on hold. Also, the NTA has mentioned that the revised exam dates will be announced at least 15 days prior to the examination.

“Looking at the present situation of COVID-19 pandemic and also taking into account the safety and well-being of the candidates and examination functionaries,” the National Testing Agency announced, “it has been decided to postpone the JEE (Main)- 2021 April session.” Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank tweeted that the safety and academic career of our students are his prime concerns presently. Also, he added the official statement from NTA in his tweet.


Two sessions of JEE Main 2021, have been successfully conducted in February and March. The first session was conducted from February 23 to 26, 2021, and the next session from March 16 to 18, 2021. The consolidated result will be released only after all the sessions will be conducted successfully.


Meanwhile, aspirants are advised to utilize this time for their preparation. They can download the NTA Abhyas App and take the available chapter-wise and full-length practice tests on it. The revised exam schedule will be released on the official website of NTA. Hence, aspirants must keep an eye on the official websites.
