The wait is over for JEE Main 2024 aspirants! The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the official answer key for Session 1 of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024. Along with the answer key, NTA has also released the response sheet and question paper for Session 1. Candidates who took the exam on January 24, 27, 29, 30, 31, and February 1 can now download the answer key and assess their estimated scores.
How to Check JEE Main 2024 Session 1 Answer Key:
Visit the official JEE Main 2024 website.
Click on the banner that says JEE MAIN 2024 ANSWER KEY LIVE.
You will be directed to a new page. Use your application number, and date of birth, and enter the captcha code to log in.
On the new page, you'll find the answer key for JEE Main 2024 Session 1.
You can also raise challenges for answers you believe are incorrect.
After following these steps, pay the adequate amount of fee and click on submit.
keep a copy of the submitted challenges and payment slip for future reference.
What's Next?
Score Estimation: Analyze your responses with the answer key to get an idea of your probable score. Remember, this is just an estimate, and the final results will depend on factors like normalization and percentile calculation.
Answer Key Challenge: If you find discrepancies in the provisional answer key, you can submit objections. The National Testing Agency (NTA) reviews these objections, and if valid, they create a revised or final answer key. The final answer key, once published, is the official guide for calculating JEE Main 2024 exam results.
How to Challenge the Answer Key?
Visit the official JEE Main 2024 website.
Click on Challenge (s) regarding Answer Key.
Log in using your Application Number and Date of Birth, and enter the displayed Security PIN. Then, click Submit.
You'll find the Question IDs in the given order for JEE (Main) – 2024 Session 1 (January 2024) for different papers.
(i.e., Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech), Paper 2A (B.Arch) and Paper 2B (B.Planning))
The ID next to the question under Correct Option is NTA's suggested answer.
To challenge, select one or more Option IDs by checking the box.
If you have supporting documents, upload them in a single PDF file by selecting Choose File and Upload.
After choosing your options, scroll down and click Save your claim for each section.
Review all your challenged Option IDs.
Finally, click Save your claim and Pay Fee.
Choose the payment mode and pay a non-refundable processing fee of ₹200 for each challenged question.
Note: You need to pay the processing fee by February 8, 2024, until 11:50 PM, using Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking. Also, challenges won't be accepted after 11:00 PM on February 8, 2024.
The official JEE Main Session 1 results are expected to be declared soon. Stay tuned to the NTA website for further announcements. Additionally, use the answer key to analyse your strengths and weaknesses it can help you prepare effectively for Session 2. The schedule for JEE Main 2024 Session 2 has been updated. Originally set for April 1, the exam will now take place from April 4 to April 15, 2024. To participate, candidates must register by March 2.
