According to a recently released notification, JEE Main 2023 registration will be conducted between November 16 and December 31, 2022. The test will be in two phases - Session 1 in January and Session 2 in April. However, NTA Director-General has confirmed that the notification surfacing on the internet is fake.
The fake notice created confusion among the aspirants, and many were seeking clarification on it. NTA has advised aspirants to get authentic information related to JEE Main 2023, one must check the official website (jeemain.nta.nic.in). No other website should be referred to broadcasting information related to the upcoming entrance exam.
Approximately 10 lakh aspirants appear for the JEE Main each year to get admission to undergraduate engineering/architecture courses offered by IITs, IIITs, and NITs. The exam is being administered in two sessions, effective 2022. Candidates can choose to attend one session or both. Candidates who participate in both sessions will have their best marks from the two taken into account for the outcome.
