In a recent development concerning the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) – 2024, a discrepancy has been identified in the photographs uploaded by certain candidates. To rectify this issue and prevent application rejection, candidates are now provided with an opportunity to upload their recent photographs under the specified guidelines.
The photograph must be passport-sized (size: 10 kb to 200 kb).
It should be either in colour or black & white, with 80% of the face (without a mask) visible, including ears, against a white background.
Spectacles are allowed if worn regularly.
Polaroid and computer-generated photos will not be accepted.
Non-compliance with these instructions or unclear photographs may lead to rejection of the application.
Applications submitted without photographs will be rejected.
Attestation of photographs is not required.
Candidates are advised to keep 6 to 8 passport-sized colour photographs with a white background.
Fabricated or manipulated photographs will result in rejection of the application, and such instances will be considered as the use of Unfair Means, leading to appropriate actions against the candidate.
Candidates are strongly urged to adhere to the specified guidelines and take advantage of the provided window to upload their photographs correctly. Regularly checking the NTA website [https://jeemain.nta.ac.in/] (https://jeemain.nta.ac.in/) for updates is recommended. For any queries or clarifications, candidates can contact the NTA Help Desk at 011-40759000/011-6922770 or email NTA at jeemain@nta.ac.in.
This notice serves as a crucial reminder for all JEE Main 2024 applicants to ensure compliance with the photograph specifications and avoid any potential application issues.
