JEE Main 2021: Last Application Date Extended By NTA

National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the deadline of the application form submission date of JEE Mains 2021 exam till January 23, 2021. The application process started on December 16, 2020.

According to an official notification released by the National Testing Agency, candidates who want to seek admission to various undergraduate programs in NITs, IITs, IIITs, and other centrally funded technical institutions, can fill in the application forms online on official website until January 23 this year.


The official statement reads, “The process of registration of the Online Application form has already started w.e.f. 16th December 2020. It is now being extended up to 23rd January 2021 for benefits of these candidates and other candidates who would like to apply for this session.”


This year's JEE Mains exam will be held in four cycles this year in the wake of coronavirus pandemic. The first cycle will take place on February 23, 24, 25, and 26, 2021. The other dates of the month March, April, and May have not been announced yet finally. Candidates must keep an eye on the official website of NTA to know all the final dates.


JEE Mains candidates are advised to go through the eligibility criteria of the JEE Mains 2021 exam online on the official website of NTA. According to the criteria, candidates who passed the Class 12th board examination with the required percentile can apply for the engineering entrance exam. Those who are appearing for the board exam this year are also eligible to apply for the JEE Mains 2021. However, there is no maximum age limit to apply for the JEE Main exam 2021.
