JEE Main 2020: NTA to Release JEE Main Answer Key and Result Soon on the Official Website

National Testing Agency or NTA is likely to release the JEE Main answer key soon on the official website for JEE exam. Subsequently, candidates can download the JEE Main 2020 answer key from the website to evaluate their performance. JEE Main 2020 result is also likely to be announced on September 11, 2020, as per the latest announcement on official website.



How to Check JEE Mains Answer Key 2020 Online?

All the JEE Mains candidates should check the following steps in order to check the JEE Main 2020 answer key online. Take a look below.

  1. Visit the official website for JEE Main exam.

  2. Click on the link that says ‘JEE Main Answer Key 2020 September’.

  3. Enter the required login information such as roll number/ application number and password.

  4. Hit the ‘SUBMIT’ button and the JEE Mains 2020 answer key will be displayed on the screen.

  5. Therefore, you can download the PDF file of the JEE Main answer key 2020 for further reference.

JEE Mains answer key published by NTA will contain the correct answer to all the questions which were asked in the exam. Candidates can challenge the provisional answer key through the official website. In order to do that, they have to fill in the online application form, pay the processing fee and upload relevant documents to support their claims.


JEE Main exam 2020 for BTech, BArch, BPlanning paper was held on September 1 to September 6, 2020, after the honourable Supreme Court dismissed the plea for further postponement of the engineering entrance exam this year. Candidates who will score the highest marks as per the JEE Main 2020 cut-off will be able to apply in various prestigious engineering schools and institutes such as National Institute of Technology (NIT), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIIT), and various government-funded institutions etc.


This year NTA has not released any certain time table for the JEE Main examination and the post-exam activities as there were unavoidable circumstances due to coronavirus pandemic. Given the JEE Main exam date and the possible JEE Main 2020 result announcement date, it can be assumed that all the post-exam activities will be held in an accelerated manner. Following the result publication, Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will conduct the JEE Mains counselling this year.


Nearly 8.67 lakhs candidates had applied for the JEE Mains April exam this year, but around 8.58 lakhs candidates appeared for the exam in September.


The top 2.5 lakh rank holders in JEE Main exam will be eligible to apply for JEE Advanced exam this year and take admission to Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). JEE Advanced examination will be held on September 27, 2020, as per the revised schedule published on. The registration process for the JEE Advanced 2020 exam will start from Saturday, September 12, 2020.
