JEE Advanced 2020 Admit Card Released - Here’s How to Download The IIT JEE Admit Card Online

The admit card for the most-awaited exam of this year JEE Advanced 2020 has finally been released by the Indian Institute of Technology (Delhi). Candidates can download the 2020 IIT JEE Advanced admit card from the official website. Those who have cleared the JEE Mains 2020 with the required marks for JEE Advanced will be eligible to seek admission in IITs and IISC through this entrance exam.



How to Download The JEE Advanced Admit Card 2020?

Check the following steps in order to download the admit card or hall ticket of 2020 JEE Advanced examination.

Step 1: Visit the official website.

Step 2: Click on the link that says ‘Candidates may download their Admit Card by Clicking Here’.

Step 3: Enter your login credentials i.e. JEE Advanced registration number, Date of Birth, and mobile number.

Step 4: Hit the ‘Login’ button.

Step 5: You admit card will appear on the screen.

Step 6: Save the JEE Advanced 2020 admit card and take a printout of the same for further reference.

Nearly 1.6 lakhs candidates have registered for the JEE Advanced exam this year, which will be conducted on September 27, 2020. Nearly 2.5 lakh JEE Mains candidates were eligible to apply. However, the percentile of candidates appearing in JEE Advanced has decreased dramatically this year in comparison with previous years.

Several precautionary measures have been taken by IIT Delhi in order to conduct the exam amid COVID-19 pandemic. The exam was supposed to be held earlier this year, but got postponed several times due to the nationwide lockdown caused by the deadly coronavirus which are spreading like wildfire throughout the country.


As a precautionary step, JEE Advanced 2020 exam will be held in more cities this year and the number of exam centres have also been increased i.e. 1150 exam centres while last year the number was 600. The number of cities where the IIT entrance exam exam took place last year was 164. This year the number is 222.


There are two papers in the JEE Advanced exam which contain 54 questions from each subject Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Each candidate has to attend all the papers. The exam duration is three hours in total.
