The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a notice for students from Tamil Nadu who are applying for the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) 2024. This notice is specifically for students who passed their Class 10 or Class 12 exams in 2021.

JEE Main 2024: Important Notice for Tamil Nadu Students

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, no examinations were conducted for the 2021 batch of Class 10 students. As a result, their mark sheets were printed with 'pass' instead of marks. To support these students, NTA has made some changes to the JEE Main 2024 application process.

Key Points

  • NTA has changed the JEE Main 2024 Application Process for students from Tamil Nadu who passed their Class 10 or Class 12 exams in 2021.

  • The result mode field is disabled, and the associated fields for marks are invisible for these candidates.

  • This change also applies to candidates who have already filled out the application form and paid the application fee.

When filling out the online application form, candidates who passed their Class 10 or Class 12 exams in 2021 must select 'Passing year' as 2021 with their 'School Board' as Tamil Nadu State Board of School Examination (Secondary). This will automatically disable the result mode field and make the associated fields for marks invisible.

This change also applies to candidates who have already filled out the application form and paid the application fee. Their result mode field will be disabled, and their marks will not be visible.

For more information, candidates can visit the official NTA website or click the link in the notice.
