This year the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, is the conducting body for JEE Advanced examination. As already notified, the examination is going to be conducted on July 3, 2021. IIT KGP has now published the updated syllabus and mock tests for JEE Advanced 2021 on the official website of the examination. Aspirants are suggested to download and refer to the JEE Advanced 2021 subject-wise syllabus, for their exam preparation. They will find the syllabus PDF and the mock tests’ links right on the home page of the official website.
JEE Advanced 2021 will be conducted as a computer-based test. Therefore, it is recommended that aspirants should take mock tests to become familiar with the exam pattern during their preparation. There will be two papers in the JEE Advanced 2021 examination, namely, Paper 1 and Paper 2. The links for JEE Advanced 2021 mock tests are now activated on the official website of the examination. Every mock test is designed in accordance with the updated syllabus and exam pattern of JEE Advanced 2021. To take the JEE Advanced 2021 mock tests, aspirants will have to click on the provided links and login with their credentials.
The application form for JEE Advanced 2021 will be tentatively released, on the official website of the examination, in June. Candidates qualifying the examination will be eligible for admissions to the undergraduate programs of engineering, architecture, and science in the 23 IITs across the country.
There are some new notifications regarding the eligibility criteria for JEE Advanced 2021. The Ministry of Education has recently announced to waive off the requirement of 75 percent marks in the 12th board exams for admissions to NITs, IIITs, SPAs, and CFTIs. Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, candidates who qualified for JEE Advanced 2020, but were unable to take the exam, will be now eligible for JEE Advanced 2021, directly. They do not need to clear JEE Mains 2021.
