i. $0.2 \times 6$

Ans: Multiplication of $0.2$ is six times will get $1.2$ as an answer. 

Thus, $0.2 \times 6 = 1.2$

ii.  $8 \times 4.6$

Ans: Multiplication of $4.6$ is eight times will get $36.8$ as an answer. 

Thus, $8 \times 4.6 = 36.8$

iii. $2.71 \times 5$ 

Ans: Multiplication of $2.71$ is five times will get $13.55$ as an answer. 

Thus, $2.71 \times 5 = 13.55$

iv. $20.1 \times 4$

Ans: Multiplication of $20.1$ is four times will get $80.4$ as an answer.

2. Find the area of the rectangle whose length is \[{\mathbf{5}}.{\mathbf{7cm}}\] and breadth is \[{\mathbf{3cm}}\].

Ans: Length of rectangle \[ = 5.7cm\] and Breadth of rectangle \[ = 3cm\]

Area of rectangle = Length x Breadth

\[ = 5.7 \times 3\]

\[ = 17.1c{m^2}\]

Thus, the area of the rectangle is $17.1$\[c{m^2}\].


3. Find: 

i. $1.3 \times 10$ 

Ans: Multiplication of $1.3$ is ten times will get $13$as an answer. 

Thus, $1.3 \times 10 = 13$

ii. $36.8 \times 10$ 

Ans: Multiplication of $36.8$ is ten times will get $368$ as an answer. 

Thus, $36.8 \times 10 = 368$

iii. $153.7 \times 10$

Ans: Multiplication of $153.7$ is ten times will get $1537$ as an answer.

iv. $168.07 \times 10$

4. A two-wheeler covers a distance of  \[{\mathbf{55}}.{\mathbf{3km}}\] in one litre of petrol. How much distance will it cover in \[{\mathbf{10}}\] litres of petrol? 

Ans: Given,in one litre, a two-wheeler covers a distance \[ = 55.3km\]

∴ In 10 litres, a two- wheeler covers a distance \[ = 55.3 \times 10\]

\[ = {\text{5}}53.0km\]

Thus, \[553km\] distance will be covered by it in \[10\] litres of petrol.


5. Find: 

i. $2.5 \times 0.3$

Ans: Multiplication of $2.5$ is $0.3$ times or vice versa will get $0.75$ as an answer. 

Thus, $2.5 \times 0.3 = 0.75$

ii. $0.1 \times 51.7$

Ans: Multiplication of $0.1$ is $51.7$ times or vice versa will get $5.17$ as an answer. 

Thus, $0.1 \times 51.7 = 5.17$

iii. $0.2 \times 316.8$ 

Ans: Multiplication of $0.2$ is $316.8$ times or vice versa will get $63.36$ as an answer. 

Thus, $0.2 \times 316.8 = 63.36$

iv. $1.3 \times 3.1$

Ans: Multiplication of $1.3$ is $3.1$ times or vice versa will get $4.03$ as an answer. 

Thus, $1.3 \times 3.1 = 4.03$

v. $0.5 \times 0.05$

Ans: Multiplication of $0.5$is $0.05$ times or vice versa will get $0.025$ as an answer. 

Thus, $0.5 \times 0.05 = 0.025$

vi. \[11.2 \times 0.15\] 

Ans: Multiplication of $11.2$ is $0.15$ times or vice versa will get $1.680$ as an answer.
