  1. Study of Fibres - natural and synthetic fibres, production of fibres, materials used, etc.

  2. Study of Fabrics - production of fabrics, types of fabrics, which clothes can be designed with which fabrics, etc.

  4. Studying Individual Style - studying the clothes worn by people of different ages at different occasions, like their styles and colours, etc.

2. What's the Marks Weightage of the Fashion Designing ICSE Class 9 Syllabus?

The full marks weightage of Fashion Designing subject in ICSE Class 9 counts for 200 marks. Out of the 200 marks, the first 100 is for a theory paper to be written by students at the end of the year. The paper is divided into 2 parts, where the first part consists of compulsory questions spanning the entire syllabus, and the second part consists of optional questions. The remaining 100 marks are accounted for through internal assessments taken by the teachers in school internally, via project work, which consists of a few design tasks which will be assigned to each student.
