List Down The Important Chapters
If a chapter is difficult to grasp, add more time in your study timetable for that chapter. Check your class 10 syllabus & devote more time on the chapters carrying high weightage. Add colors to the topics or chapters to make your class 10 study time table more visually appealing.
Break your Time For Each Activity
Study, revise & practice- this is all you have to do! Sounds easy? Well, you should divide your study time to complete each of these learning activities.
Set Up Achievable Goals
It’s better to set up small goals like weekly or monthly goals & plan your activities accordingly. It will be good if you take separate papers for each subject. List down all the stuff you need to learn, revise or practice more. Keep this in mind and create the study time table for class 10.
Know Your Strength & Weaknesses
When you study, you know if that chapter or topic seems easy to you or not. If you don’t think it's easy to understand, refer some good study material for class 10 or watch video lectures from good teachers to clear your doubt. In this way, you will improve your weakness. The chapters that you find easy, don’t spend much time there. In this way, you will improve both your strong points & weak points within your time limit.
Take Small Breaks
Take breaks in between your long hours of study. Don’t study for 3-4 hours at a stretch as you will feel exhausted which will do no good to you. Give yourself a break. Have time for meals, sleep, and recreational activities. It’s a good habit to take 15 - 10 mins break every hour.
Plan Smart To Avoid A Monotonous Routine
Probably Math is your favorite subject or maybe English, but is it a good idea to do the Math for 5 long hours just because you like it? Trust me, if you follow the same routine every day, you will lose interest in that subject. So, allocate time for every subject- mix & match your time so that it does not get monotonous.
And yes, once you make changes in your study timetable if you think it needs to be changed because sometimes time we estimate for a subject, is not required for that. Don’t worry, you will understand this with time but make sure to use a pencil when you change the time table.
