The Ant Got Hurt

One day, an ant was passing by the river. He was searching for food for his colony. It is the routine duty of the ants to search for food. He was passing by the elephant without saying a word.

The elephant was drinking water from the river. He saw the little ant and sprayed water on him. The small amount of water for an elephant is a thrust for the ant. The ant said, “What are you doing? It hurts when you hurl water on me.”

The elephant said, “I can do whatever I want to. Who are you to stop me? I am more powerful than you. Don’t irritate me, or I will squish you with my strong legs.”

The Ant’s Revenge

In this Elephant Short Story, the ant had nothing to do rather than listen to the elephant boast. He went away and did not do anything. When he returned after finding food, he saw the elephant resting under the shade of a tree.

It was his opportunity. He quietly crawled into the trunk of the elephant. The elephant felt something funny in his trunk. He woke up. To his surprise, he felt a strong bite inside his trunk.

He shrieked in pain. He could not itch inside his trunk and was writhing. The ant kept on biting inside his trunk. Suddenly, a voice came from his trunk, “Who is helpless now?”

The elephant recognised the voice of the ant. He said, “It is you. Please don’t bite. I am sorry for what I have done.”

The ant said, “Say sorry to the animals one by one or I will keep biting your trunk.”
